Adaptive Planning Tools was founded in 1998.
The company is located in Denmark.
Scope
We develop planning and scheduling software covering small to medium sized tasks. Tasks, that are too complex to handle manualy, and too small to let the computer solve them by an algorithm.
Our products do not perform your planning tasks as such, they only assist you in doing so. Computers can't compete with human brains as puzzeling power concerns, anyway.
Our products will help you in four ways:
- They give you an instant overview of the scheduling problem.
- Having the familiar look and feel of a planning board.
- They allow you to concentrate on the planning issue, by letting the computer keep tack of all the loose ends and little things.
- By accepting and cope with the fact, that plans do not always comply with reality.
Our products do offer automatic resource allocation, but you may always overrule.
Extendability
New features can be added to our products by adding extension modules.
The adding procedure is highly simple as it consists of simply downloading the extension.
We take great care in not extending the feature list of our products beyond the realm at which they are aimed.
Suggestions are wellcomed though.
Interoperability
Our products are equipped with a web server, offering web-services aimed at interoperability and integration.
The data exchange formats, used by the services, are international agreed upon standards.
The list of web-services is constantly evolving. Feel free to suggest ones yourself.
Anyone are free to integrate with our products.
