Templates has the same form and behaviour as the ordinary schedule. The only difference being the its background color and that its length is measured in weeks. The actual schedule can be created from templates, simply by repeatedly superimposing the template upon a scheduling period.

This greatly simplifies the scheduling task, as only exceptions need to be handeled and the template only has to be created once. Resource allocation can be predifined in the template all or partial, manual or automatic if you wish. Finally templates can be used for simulating.
