Import Tasks

What is importing tasks:

The definition of a task in this context is a project where at most the title, site, week to start and resource-needs are specified.

Tasks created in other programs can be imported into the Multi·Project·Planner.

Imported tasks are put into the list of projects.

The imported tasks are projects and can be treated as any other project.

How to import tasks:

Two things has to be done to import projects:

• Download and install the Import-Tasks service.
• The tasks to be imported must be represented in a XML-file.

The Import-Tasks can be activated through the internet, or from a menu point, which is installed in the Multi·Project·Planner when installing the Import-Tasks service.

Specification:

The installation package contains the specification of the XML-format and a specification of how to invoke the Import-Tasks service from the net.
