To create or alter a resource category follow this procedure:

1. Select the menu Catalogs->Resource categories.
2. In the Resource categories Catalog click the 'New' button if you wish to add a new resource category or the 'Edit' button if you whish alter the attributes of an existing resource category.

The Resource categories Catalog will expand revealing the editing fields.

New Expands the dialog revealing fields where the attributes of the new resource category can be stated. Edit Expands the dialog revealing fields where the attributes of the selected resource category can be altered. Delete Removes the resource category if it is not in use in any plan. Category The name of the resource category. Abbr. The abbreviation of the resource category. Submit Accepts the data entered. Reset Clears the 'Category' and 'Abbr.' fields. Collapse Collapses the dialog to its original size.
