You may manually assign resources to activities by dragging a work hour to an activity.

The manual assignment respects resource availability, but not competences.

The manual assignment has several modes. The two main one are:

• Full time assignment. You may control if the assignment covers only the work hour being dragged or from the date of work hour and to the end of the activity. If the work hour (and work hours) is already assigned to another activity, you may reassign the work hour (work hours).
• Part time assignment. You specify how many hours and minutes within a work hour the resource is to be allocated the activity. Once again you may control if the assignment covers only the work hour being dragged or from the date of work hour and to the end of the activity. Part time assignment allows a resource to be assigned several activities simultaneously.
