The Resource Situation View calculates the demand and supply of resources in order to identify resource bottlenecks.

The read line shows the supply of resources, while the blue area show the demand for resources.

You may customize the resource situation view in two ways.

• By grouping the resources in categories the resource situation is calculated for each category. Calculation of the resource supply is straightforward as the resources are assigned a resource category. Calculation of resource demand is done through the competence requirements of each activity to the resource category of those resources supplying the demanded competences.
• The calculation unit may be days or hours. If hours used the work teams must have a weekly work hours schedule assigned.

The resource situation view adapts itself when resources are assigned a resource category.
