Making a new appointment with a client
The video illustrates making a new appointment with a client, typicaly at the end of the session.
The session just ended is the first session on Monday the 28 of June.
The client Dave, is primilary booked at Monday the 5. of July, but Dave is only available on the 8 of July at Ingrid's session. This session is preliminary though.
So we will book Dave at that time-slot.
The process consist of:
- Selecting the client and set the system in 'PERT'-mode.
- Drag the session to the new position and drop it.
If the time-slot is occupied with a non fixed session, that session is turned into a hot potato, making room for this session.
(But only if you force it so by pressing the 'Ctrl' key. - Fix the first session, which will prevent it from beeing moved.
A hot potato is nothing else than a reminder of a problem, to be dealt with when appropriate.
