Psychiatrist's Clinic
The psychologist' booking problem is the need to book a course of sessions simultaneously. Multi Project Planner's unique template facilities are used to formulate a set of template courses.
In this case we operate with three templates:
- 6 sessions with one week between.
- 6 sessions with two weeks between.
- 12 sessions with two weeks between.
When an appointment is made with the client the first time, a template is booked in the schedule. The first session is agreed upon with the client, i.e. it is an appointment, the others are preliminary sessions.
The picture shows three weeks of the schedule for the psychologist' clinic.
The day has be divided into six time-slots of one and a half hours duration. Within a time-slot the psychologist performs a session.
A bar represents a session with a client. If a bar has a black triangle attached, the session has been agreed upon with the client, i.e. it represents an appointment.
Although Multi Project Planner's minimum time unit is a day, this example shows how to use rows to represent time-slots.
